Rainbet baccarat: live and speed tables

Which Rainbet baccarat tables are there?

Rainbet baccarat is found in the live lobby as Rainbet Baccarat and Rainbet Speed Baccarat, both from Pragmatic Play. The speed table deals the same game with a shorter betting window. Both tables run on the same balance as the rest of the site.

How is a hand of baccarat played?

Baccarat compares two hands, Player and Banker, and the hand closest to 9 wins. You bet on which one that'll be, or on a tie. Nobody at the table makes a decision after the bet.

1. Bet on Player, Banker or Tie before the timer ends.
2. Two cards are dealt to each hand. Tens and picture cards count as 0, aces as 1.
3. Only the last digit of the total counts, so 7 and 8 make 5.
4. A fixed rule decides whether either hand takes a third card.
5. The higher total wins and bets are settled.

What do the three bets pay?

Banker and Player pay close to even money, and Tie pays much more because it lands much less often.

Payouts and commission are shown on each table. Some tables change the Banker payout or add side bets, so read the table rules before the first hand.

Why is the third-card rule nothing to worry about?

The third-card rule is applied by the dealer automatically, and you never have to act on it. It's a fixed chart that says when each hand draws, based on the totals on the table. Knowing it doesn't change your options, because the only choice you have comes before any card is dealt.

Does following the scoreboard help?

No. The road maps beside a baccarat table record past results, and past results don't predict the next hand. Each hand is dealt fresh from the shoe by a fixed rule. The boards are part of the game's tradition and a fine way to follow along, as long as they aren't treated as a forecast.

How fast does a balance move at baccarat?

Baccarat is one of the fastest table games, since no one stops to think. A live hand is over quickly, and a speed table is quicker again. Small bets add up at that pace, so set a session budget before you join and count hands as well as stakes.

What do the cards count for?

A two-card total of 8 or 9 is called a natural. When either hand has one, no more cards are drawn and the round is settled straight away.

What are baccarat side bets?

Side bets are extra wagers on something other than which hand wins, such as whether the first two cards of a hand form a pair. Where a table offers them, they pay more than the main bets and carry a higher house edge. They're optional, and the main game plays the same with or without them.

Is there a strategy for baccarat?

There's no play that beats baccarat, since you make no decisions once the cards are out. The one useful rule is about which bet to choose. Banker has the lowest edge, Player is close behind, and Tie costs far more than either.

• Pick Banker or Player and keep the stake flat.
• Leave Tie and the side bets alone if you want your budget to last.
• Ignore streaks on the scoreboard. They describe the past.
• Set a number of hands or a time limit before you sit down.

Can you verify a baccarat hand?

No. Rainbet's live baccarat tables deal physical cards in a studio whose operation is audited by independent labs, so you watch the result instead of verifying a seed. The games that can be checked round by round are on Rainbet Originals, and the other streamed tables are on Rainbet live casino.
