Rainbet blackjack: live tables, software and an Original

Which versions of Rainbet blackjack are there?

Rainbet blackjack is offered as live tables, software tables and a Rainbet Original. The three share one balance, and you can move between them freely.

Which live blackjack tables does Rainbet have?

The live lobby carries Rainbet Blackjack and Rainbet Speed Blackjack from Pragmatic Play, along with Lightning Blackjack from Evolution. Rainbet also has several exclusive live tables built for its own players. Speed tables cut the decision time, so more hands are dealt each hour.

How does a hand of blackjack work?

You win a hand of blackjack by finishing closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards count at face value, picture cards count as 10, and an ace counts as 1 or 11.

1. Place a bet. You and the dealer each get two cards, with one dealer card face up.
2. Hit to take another card, or stand to keep what you have.
3. Double to double the stake for exactly one more card, or split a pair into two hands.
4. The dealer draws to a fixed rule, and the higher total under 22 wins.

Which table rules change the house edge?

The rules printed on the table decide the house edge, and they differ from table to table. Read them before the first hand.

• Blackjack payout. A table paying 3 to 2 on a natural is better for the player than one paying 6 to 5.
• Soft 17. A dealer who stands on soft 17 is better for the player than one who hits.
• Doubling and splitting. The more freely you can double and re-split, the lower the edge.
• Side bets. Side bets pay more and carry a higher edge than the main hand.

Can you check a blackjack result?

Only the in-house version is provably fair. Blackjack is listed among the 15 Rainbet Originals, and Rainbet Originals are provably fair. How results on the Originals are checked is on Rainbet provably fair.

Live tables deal physical cards on camera, and software tables run a certified random number generator audited by independent labs. Neither produces a seed you can verify yourself.

Can you play Rainbet blackjack for free?

Yes, on most software tables, which run in demo mode with no deposit. Rainbet also offers demo mode on all its Originals. Live tables are real-time streams, so the usual way to learn one is to watch a few rounds before placing a bet.

Blackjack has decisions, which is why the edge moves with how you play. A demo session is a free way to practise the basic hit, stand and double choices.

What is basic strategy?

Basic strategy is the set of plays that gives the lowest house edge for each hand against each dealer card. It's a chart worked out from the maths of the game, and it doesn't involve counting cards. A few of its rules cover most hands.

• Stand on a hard 17 or more.
• Hit a hard 11 or less. You can't go bust.
• Stand on 12 to 16 when the dealer shows 2 to 6, and hit when the dealer shows 7 or higher.
• Double on 11 against most dealer cards.
• Always split aces and eights. Never split tens or fives.

Basic strategy lowers the edge and doesn't remove it. The house still has the advantage over a long run of hands, so a budget matters as much as the chart.

How do speed and Lightning tables differ from a standard one?

A speed table plays standard blackjack with less time to act. Lightning Blackjack is Evolution's variant, with rules of its own. Read its rules panel before you sit, and check the table limits while you're there.
