Rainbet Dice: roll over or under your own target

Rainbet Dice gives you one slider. Where you set it decides both how often you win and how much a win pays, and the game shows both numbers before you roll.

How does Rainbet Dice work?

Rainbet Dice asks you to set a target number and bet that the roll lands over it or under it. A wide winning range pays a small multiplier, and a narrow one pays a large multiplier.

How do the slider and the multiplier relate?

The multiplier rises as the win chance falls, and the two always move together. At the default 50.50, a roll-over bet wins a little under half the time. Slide towards a 10% chance and the multiplier climbs close to ten times the stake.

  • High chance, low multiplier: many small wins and a steady balance.
  • Low chance, high multiplier: long losing runs broken by a large win.
  • Anywhere in between: the same house edge, spread differently.

Is roll over different from roll under?

No. Roll over and roll under are the same bet seen from two sides. A bet with a 30% chance pays the same multiplier whichever direction you choose, so the switch is there for preference and gives no advantage.

How do you play a round?

  1. Enter your bet.
  2. Choose roll over or roll under.
  3. Drag the slider until the win chance and multiplier suit you.
  4. Roll in Manual mode. Auto mode is available too.

Dice is a good first Original because nothing is hidden. The screen states your chance and your payout before every roll.

Can you verify a roll?

Yes. Every roll is generated from your client seed, Rainbet's hashed server seed and a nonce that rises by one with each bet. Open the Fair Play tab to see the active seeds, and follow the steps on Rainbet provably fair to check any past roll.

How should you use Auto mode on Dice?

Auto mode is available on Dice, next to Manual. Fix your total spend and the stake first, and keep the stake small against your session total. Automatic rolls take very little time, so the limit you set matters more than the target you choose.

What is Rainbet Dice good for?

Dice suits anyone who wants to choose their own odds. It's also the easiest place to see a house edge at work, since a 99.00% maximum RTP means the gap between fair odds and paid odds is small and visible. A close cousin with the same idea and no slider is Rainbet Limbo. The full set is on Rainbet Originals.
