Rainbet football: markets, live odds and bet types

Rainbet football betting has its own section in the sportsbook, open before kick-off and while a match is live. The bets settle to the same balance you use in the casino.

Where is football on Rainbet?

Rainbet football sits in the sportsbook under Football, one of the sports in the main menu. It's the same sport some sites list as soccer, and it's separate from American Football, which has its own entry.

What are the main football markets?

Most football bets fall into a few families. The names differ a little between sportsbooks, and the ideas don't.

MarketWhat you're betting onExample
Match resultHome win, draw or away win after normal timeThe home side to win
Double chanceTwo of the three results in one betHome win or draw
TotalsGoals over or under a set lineOver 2.5 goals
HandicapA result after a goal start is appliedAway side +1
Both teams to scoreWhether each side scores at least onceYes
OutrightThe winner of a whole competitionA club to win its league

The markets open on a fixture are listed on that fixture, and bigger matches carry more of them.

How do handicaps and totals work?

A handicap gives one team a head start in goals, and a total sets a line for goals scored. Both exist to make a lopsided match worth pricing.

  • Handicap -1: the team must win by two or more for the bet to win.
  • Handicap +1: the bet wins if the team wins or draws. A one-goal defeat lands on the line and the stake is returned.
  • Over 2.5: three or more goals in the match wins.
  • Under 2.5: two goals or fewer wins.

Half-goal lines such as 2.5 can't end level, so the bet always wins or loses. Whole-number lines can return the stake when the result lands exactly on the line.

How does live football betting work?

Live football odds change with the match. A goal, a red card or a penalty can move the price of every market at once. Matches in progress are listed under Live Matches.

Live prices can change before a bet is accepted. Read the price on the bet slip again before you confirm, and check My Bets afterwards.

What does normal time mean for a bet?

Most match markets settle on normal time, which is ninety minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs usually count only for markets that say so, such as a bet on which side qualifies. Settlement on Rainbet follows the Sportsbook Rules on rainbet.com, so check them for cup ties.

How do you place a football bet?

  1. Open Football in the sportsbook and choose a competition and a match.
  2. Pick a market and tap the price to add it to the bet slip.
  3. Enter a stake and read the possible return.
  4. Confirm, then track the bet in My Bets.

Do football bets count for races?

Yes. Football bets are sportsbook bets, which count three times in the Weekly Race and the Monthly Race. The prize pools are on Rainbet races.

What is an accumulator?

An accumulator joins several selections into one bet, and all of them have to win. The prices multiply, so three selections at 2.00 each make combined odds of 8.00. A stake of 10 would return 80.

The catch is the chance of all three landing. Three even-money picks come in together about one time in eight, and the bookmaker's margin applies to every leg. Short accumulators are a fair bit of fun. Long ones are very hard to land.

How do outright bets work?

An outright is a bet on the result of a whole competition, such as the league winner or the top scorer. It's placed before or during the season and settled at the end, so your stake is tied up for a long time. Prices move week by week as results come in.

Which details change a football bet?

  • Team news: a missing striker or goalkeeper moves prices before kick-off.
  • Fixture load: a side playing its third match in a week may rotate its squad.
  • Home and away: the venue is already in the price, so it isn't free value.
  • Motivation: late-season matches can mean much more to one side than the other.

How do you keep football betting under control?

Decide a stake for the day before the first fixture, and don't raise it to win back a loss. A weekend with a full fixture list offers hundreds of markets, and the number of chances to bet is no reason to take them. The other sports in the menu are on Rainbet sports.
